Boobaby > I love this bird..been waiting for him to get here! He always comes at the same time every year and he finally arrived today. I haven't see the female yet, but she will be here. Last year he ran into my door and it knocked him out, so I got to hold him until he came back to and then he sat in my hand for a little while, shook his head and flew off!
Boobaby > I didn't get to post yesterday and I will be out the next couple of days,due to my aunt passing away. It seems like everything is happening this week, has not been a good week so far. This is a blue grosbeak that I got on Sunday, they are such beautiful birds. They are eating all the blackberries right now. Will catch up with everyone as soon as possible. Can anyone tell me what the spot is I keep seeing on some of my pictures? If you enlarge it to X3 right below the barbed wire on the right you can see a spot..does this mean I have some dust or something in my camera?
Boobaby > I saw studio721's shot of an eye, so I decided to post the one I did of my daughters!
Boobaby > I thought this was the cutest little bird! I took this while I was at my aunt Linda's cabin on the river.
Boobaby > Must be a mighty tasty fig!
Boobaby > This butterfly blended with the leaves quite nicely!
Boobaby > I went outside on my lunchbreak and the wind was blowing really hard and all of the sudden this little bat came falling down next to me! It couldn't fly, so I got it and put it in a container and I've called a lady that rehabs bats, so she's going to try and arrange to come pick it up,but meanwhile I'm tending to him. Its actually pretty cute when you look at it! I wanted to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes!! You are all very sweet and if I can't figure that lens out, I will let you all know!! I will not be able to go tromp those woods over until friday,thats my day to get off early...so I can't wait for friday!! but I had a great Birthday.
Boobaby > Loved the expression on this one! Check it out in x3large..you can see its little mouth better! We went to First Monday Trade Days in Canton,Texas today but got in a horrible storm. Someone even got struck by lightening..don't think I have ever been so scared in my life..needless to say I didn't get to take any pictures today..I was just ready to get home!! Thank you all so much for all the nice comments on my cardinal shot..I was very happy to get that one!
